There is a new commemorative stamp from ARUBA. It is the first Volleyball stamp issued by this country, which means that we have one more country in the long list of countries having issued stamps with our favourite topic. It gets number 001.

  • Thanks to Piet van den Berg I can show three new semi-official postal stationery items from GERMANY. They get numbers 012 - 014, respectively.
  • Piet also informs about a new commemorative cancel from KOREA, SOUTH. It gets number 017.
  • He sends also information about a new commemorative cancel from ROMANIA. It gets number 025.
  • There is also a new postal stationery item from the CZECH REPUBLIC. It gets number 010.

Can anyone proof if any of the two Japanese cancels show Volleyball or a different sport. The ball seems to be Volleyball, but other cancels issued for the same event show a different player.

Do these cancels show Volleyball ? This is the Volleyball cancel used for the same event !

  • There is a nice and interesting mistake on stamp ANTIGUA & BARBUDA 004. Check it out !
  • Thanks to Piet van den Berg from Holland I can inform about  three very intersting new LOCAL postal stationery covers (entires) from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 004 to 005.
  • Thanks to Piet I can also add a lot of new YVERT & TELLIER catalogue numbers.
  • There is an interesting essay of a stamp from KOREA, SOUTH which was never issued. It gets number 001.

  • According to information from my friend Piet van den Berg from Holland the new Chinese stamp with Volleyball tab which I informed about yesterday is a local issue from the JiangSi province. That is why I pleced it in the corresponding section of this online - catalogue. You can see it under CHINA, PR.
  • Thanks to Piet I can also inform about a new postal stationery item from CHINA, PR. I had to change the numbers of some of the items of what is now a six part series of covers issued for the Universiade 2001. The new one gets number 013.
  • There are two new cachet cancels from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 026 and 027, respectively.
  • There is a new stamp from CUBA. It gets number 029.
  • I can show a full sheetlet of stamp KOREA NORTH 007a.
  • I can show a full sheetlet of stamp MALTA 001.
  • Thanks to my friend Manfred "Bobby" Bermann from Vienna, Austria, I can inform about some new matchbook labels: three from SOVIET UNION (005, 008, 014, U001) and from CZECHOSLOVAKIA (001, 002, 003, U002).
  • According the new information I had to change commemorative cancel CHINA, PR 027 to the cachet cancel section, where it gets number CHINA, PR 028.
  • There are also two new related cancels from CHINA, PR. One is a different number version of an already listed cancel (002), the other one is new in this catalogue (006).
  • Thanks to information from my friend Mauro Gilardi from Italy I had to take cachet canel CHINA, PR number 015 from the catalogue, since it is a commemorative cancel. It has got number CHINA, PR 024 now.
