2003 05 29
  • There is a new phone card from ISRAEL. It is the first Volleyball card of this country.
  • Bernard Bergeret from France found a new souvenir sheet issued in 1992 from GUINEA in a perforate and imperforate version. It gets number 001a/b. So far I have no images, but they will follow soon.

  • There is a new imperforate version of stamp KOREA, NORTH 011. It gets number 011b.
  • Tere is a new ticket from POLAND. It gets number 001.
  • There is a very interesting new colour trial from SINGAPORE. It gets number 007a.
  • There is a new related stamp from URUGUAY. It gets number 001.
  • There are a couple of  new postcard from the UNITED STATES. They were sent to me as a gift by my Volleyball colleague JACK ODUM from Ft. Collins, USA.

  • There are five new cachet cancels from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 012 to 015 and 017, respectively.
  • There is a new postal stationery card from CHINA, PR. It gets number 005a (some other numbers had to be changed).
  • There is a new commemorative cancel from CHINA, PR. It gets number 004.
  • There is a nice block of four of stamp CUBA 003.
  • There is an interesting related cancel from ISRAEL. It gets number 001.
  • There is a new commeorative cancel from JAPAN. It dates from 1957 and gets number 030.

  • There are new postal stationery cards from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 013a - c.
  • There are four new cachet cancels from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 012, 016, 017 and 018, respectively.
  • There are two new Maximum cards from CHINA, PR. They get numbers 004 and 006, respectively.

  • There is a new Maximum card from ARMENIA. It gets number 003.
  • I could add images of stamp BHUTAN 001b.
  • There is a new commemorative cancel from CHINA, PR. It gets number 023.
  • There is a new cachet cancel from CHINA, PR. It gets number 012.
  • There is a new postal stationery card from CHINA, PR. It gets number 013.

According to information from the MICHEL catalogue the Mongolian souvenir sheets which I listed as Cinderella stamps are REAL STAMPS. So I list them now according to this information under MONGOLIA, and they get numbers 004 to 015.
2003 05 02
  • Mauro Gilardi from Italy sent information about another cancel from ARGENTINA, issued for the World Championships held there last year. This cancel gets number 029.
  • He also informs about a sketch of a new cancel from ITALY recently issued. It gets number 082.
