A very interesting find was reported by Bernard Bergeret
from France. He sent me the following scan:

You can see Volleyball on the right sheet margin (see
detail 1). The "stamps" shown on this "souvenir sheet"
were issued on Sept 28, 1965 (there was also a Volleyball stamp in this
set, it is 001a, but it is not part of this "sheetlet"). If you
check closely, you will see that the face values of all five
"stamps" have a line crossing the face value out - and making it
invalid for postage. That means that we have NO souvenir sheet here, but,
according to my opinion, a cinderella sheetlet.
Another curious thing is that on the top margin, right hand side, you can
clearly read the date 1989.9.6 (detail 2), and under the two red rings on
the left hand side you can also see the year "1989" (detail 3).
If we could translate the Chinese text maybe we could find out more about
this strange issue.
