| The "Olympic Games" stamps were first issued in sheets of 20 [002b] under the situation of speculation (venture) but soon the Japanese Olympic Foundation demanded an additional printing of stamps to get another 150.000.000 Yen contribution. This is how the souvenir sheet [003] came into being. The perforation of the souvenir sheets were entrusted to private companies, that is why an error like this imperforate version can be found. | ||||
