| The cancellation section of the official German Post cancelled a certain quantity of stamps with First Day Cancels to use them on official First Day Covers. Some of these stamps were badly cancelled so that only a very small portion of the cancel is visible. These stamps could not be sold and were overprinted with a big black Andreas cross. | ||||
